Pi-Star First Time WiFi Config.. How To ?

I believe some people get a little bit mixed up when adding WiFi Configuration settings to their Pi-Star Hotspot, here's how to do it with a little bit of information.

If its the first time you are adding the config settings ie you haven't got your hotspot connected to any of your wireless internet points you will need to head over to pi-star.uk, once you have got to the pi star website down the left hand side navigate to 'Pi Star Tools' under that heading you'll find the 'WiFi Builder'.

After locating the 'WiFi Builder' you need to enter you hub or mobile hotspot details, please note you can only add one config this way but after your connected you can add more WiFi access points!

Once you have hit submit button it will download your wifi config file which you will need to take the memory card out of your hotspot open the folder and drag and drop it there to 'boot'.

Above you can see the wpa_supplicant.conf file highlighted which you have just downloaded and drag & dropped into the 'boot' folder, now place your memory card back into your hotpsot and power it up, this will connect to your network and allow you to access the dashboard by typing the IP Address of your hotspot in to you internet browser.
